Adventures in Tableting: So, I Got an Ipad 2

As much as I've enjoyed my Nook Color over the past few months, when the wife offered to give me a small piece of our tax return to put toward an iPad, I could not resist. Having picked it up on Sunday, I've only had it for a few days, but I'm impressed so far.

My favorite feature so far is the spacious virtual keypad. I can type in my normal fashion, as the keys are spread out enough that I'm not constantly hitting the wrong letters. Punctuation can be difficult, as you are basically bringing up another version of the keyboard, but it doesn't slow me down too much.

I downloaded Quick Office Pro, which syncs with my Dropbox and Google Docs accounts, so I'm looking forward to putting the iPad's word processing capabilities through their paces. The Blogger app (which I am using for this post) works great.

I'll post again after I spend some more time with the iPad, and I should have part 3 of my Demon's Souls series up here before the end ofnthe week.
